Walking Your Plans

What type of plans can I walk?

Really anything. Floor plans, Unit plans, Building plans, Civil plans, Interior design plans, Landscape plans, Structural plans, MEP plans, Event plans

Do you project vertically?

Yes! We project exterior renderings and elevations, sections, cabinet shop drawings, signage, and more.

Am I limited to how many plans I can walk during a booking?

Nope. Your only limit is the time you use.

How big is your projection space?

2,500 sq. ft. (50x50), but don’t worry if you have larger plans. We move the plans in real time so you can walk spaces way bigger than the studio.

How can I walk bigger plans?

We move the plans in real time so you can walk spaces bigger than 2,500 sq. ft.

What resolution are your projectors?

6K resolution

How close to life size can you get?

We can get to within a 1/4 - 1/8" fidelity based on the quality of your plans

Can I make changes to my plans?

Yes, you can draw notes on your plans on our Vibe board which projects to the floor. This lets you create or move rooms, draw doors, add comments, and cross things out with ease.

Do you all give feedback on our plans?

While we have a lot of experience around building, we are not licensed architects or engineers. If you’d like an opinion, we don’t mind sharing. However, no opinions shared should be taken as professional or legal advice which should be sought from your design professionals and engineers.

What happens next?

1. Schedule a time to book

3. Invite your team (friends, family, architect, builder, etc.)

4. Walk your Plans

Before You Arrive

Do my plans need to be sent in any way special?

Yes, they need to:

  1. Be a PDF format

  2. Have measurements,

  3. Ideally, have a scale. For example, 1/4" = 1'.

  4. Ideally, remove extraneous comments, call outs, and grids

  5. Note: Not well suited for hand drawn plans.

Can I bring people?

Yes! We encourage it. Walking your plans is better with friends, family, your architect, and your build team. Decisions get made faster with everyone in the same room and seeing the same thing.

Can I arrive early?

Yes, however, you may need to wait in the lobby or a conference room before your session begins. This is a perfect time to discuss with others what you want to get out of your time.

What happens if I arrive late?

We prepare with some buffer room, however, we cannot guarantee your booking if you are 15 minutes late or more. Often we have a booking afterwards, and we must maintain time for calibrations and prep for subsequent walkthroughs.

Can I get a refund?

All bookings are non-refundable. If you need to reschedule, please see the rescheduling policy below. See payment terms for more information.

You may reschedule up to 48 hours before your appointment at no cost.

  • Rescheduling within 48 hours of your appointment results in a $150 reschedule fee.
